Rescue Engine Goes To Work

At approximately 1704 hours this evening, Ulster Hose was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on Tuytenbridge Road. While enroute, units were notified by Ulster County 911 that the car had struck a utility pole. Car 2 arrived to find one car into a pole with the pole snapped in half and one patient still in the vehicle. Engine 1 arrived and performed a full side removal of the passenger side in order to remove the patient. The patient was removed and flown to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital by LifeNet.
