On July 6th at approximately 1000 hours, the dive team was dispatched to the Port Ewen fire district to assist with a search detail for a missing elderly person. Divers from Ulster Hose, the Ulster County Sheriffs Office, and the New York State Police operated in the Hudson River for approximately four hours assisting with the search. The missing person was later located by a search crew from a local fire dept. in a wooded area safe and secure.
